Iron Man is a fictional superhero that first appeared

in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was

created by writer Stan Lee, developed by writer Larry Lieber, and designed by artists Don Heck and Jack Kirby. Iron Man\’s alter ego is Tony Stark, a wealthy industrialist and genius inventor who creates a powered suit of armor to become a superhero.

Iron Man first appeared in \”Tales of Suspense\” #39 in 1963,

and has since become one of Marvel Comics\’ most popular and recognizable characters. He has appeared in

numerous comic book series, animated TV shows, and films, including the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) movies.

In the MCU, Iron Man portrayed by actor Robert Downey Jr., and is a founding member of the Avengers. The character plays a prominent role in the first three phases of the MCU, appearing in a total of eleven films. Iron Man is known for his witty humor, brilliant intellect, and his iconic suit of armor, which he constantly upgrades with new technology.
